This resource section includes the national ad campaign, photos, videos, program ads, publication inserts and more at the click of a button. These assets are available for members to use in sale catalogs, state directories, websites, social media, publication advertising, etc. With a shared mission to promote the Hereford breed, utilizing these assets will amplify the breed’s message. The more breeders share Hereford’s concise, compelling key messages — the louder the unified voice — the more opportunity there will be to expand market share individually and collectively.

National Ad Campaign

Ongoing multi-year research at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) details the advantages of Hereford-sired F1 black baldy females across generations, compared to straightbred commercial Angus females. For instance: 14% more first-calf weaning rate, 18% more bred back as 2-year-olds and 13% more remained in the herd as 4-year-olds. AHA’s new advertising campaign embodies these realities with a direct, powerful message — Hereford genetics stamp baldies with the indelible white face, which signifies more docility, fertility, longevity and efficiency.

1881: A Historic Opportunity
