If you received a non-compliance letter and forms in the mail, it is due to the lack of completion in your Fall 2015 Whole Herd TPR reporting. The forms you received outline the information needed in order to stay compliant. To help the Whole Herd TPR program achieve its goals of improving the accuracy and meaning of Hereford EPDs, it is important that complete information on each calf-crop is submitted to the American Hereford Association (AHA).

Receiving the information in the mail may mean that:

  1. You have not yet reported calving information and/or reproduction status on every cow listed on your Fall 2015 inventory
  2. You have not yet reported a weaning weight or disposal code for the viable calves of every cow listed on your Fall 2015 inventory
  3. You have not yet reported a portion of the above-mentioned data and earlier received either a yellow Form R1 or R3 (or both) asking for additional information to complete your TPR reporting for the Fall 2015 season and you have not yet responded to that request

AHA Board policy requires that all of the Fall 2015 information be completed to maintain your status as a performance breeder after July 15, 2017.

Please take a moment to complete your Fall 2015 Whole Herd TPR paperwork and return the forms to the AHA as soon as possible. An alternative to completing and returning these forms would be to log on to your MyHerd.org account and click on the to-do lists in the upper portion of the screen concerning any of your Fall 2015 information.

If you have any questions regarding the non-compliance information or if you feel you have received this notice in error, please call the AHA customer service department at (816) 842-3757.
