NJHA members exhibiting steers at the Junior National Hereford Expo this summer: Don’t forget all steers entered in the JNHE must have a DNA profile on file. To DNA test your steer for the JNHE, please follow these three steps:
1) Contact and request a kit from Laura Loschke or Toni Shapiro in the DNA
2) Collect sample as instructed
3) Send sample to the lab
It currently takes about 4 weeks to receive the results once the lab acknowledges the sample.
