LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The National Junior Hereford Association (NJHA) is excited to announce Hereford Now, a live broadcast from the 2022 Junior National Hereford Expo (JNHE) “Banners in the Bluegrass” powered by Cattle Drive Live. This inaugural episode will be the first in the series showcasing the dynamic youth leading the breed, allied industry partners investing in the next generation and breed initiatives shaping the trajectory of the beef industry. VitaFerm®, Sullivan Supply and TransOva Genetics are the title sponsors of Hereford Now.


Tune in to the episode on July 18, 2022 at 7 p.m. EDT on Facebook through the NJHA, Hereford Youth Foundation of America (HYFA), Cattle Drive Live pages, and Walton Webcasting. The episode will be hosted by Brett Carter, Cattle Drive Live; Amy Cowan, American Hereford Association (AHA) director of youth actives and foundation; and Shane Bedwell, AHA chief operating officer. The episode will feature youth who have been impacted by the mission of the Hereford Youth Foundation of America (HYFA) to develop leaders and provide scholarships and educational opportunities, and supporters who see the value in creating a generation who can lead the agriculture industry in the future.

“Banners in the Bluegrass,” will be held July 16-22, at the Kentucky Fair and Expo Center, and the NJHA is thrilled to announce there are 2,031 entries from 775 junior members who are gearing up to compete in the showring and contest arenas throughout the flagship event. Excitement for the event continues to grow as exhibitors from 39 different states plan to head to the Bluegrass state next week.
