One month left to DNA test your herd at a discounted rate

Manage and market your cattle with more confidence by participating in the Whole Cow Herd DNA project. The American Hereford Association (AHA) is striving to get more cows genotyped to help allow the implementation of genomic information into the models of maternal traits.

The deadline to get your cows DNA tested for the discounted rate is almost up. Breeders have until Dec. 31, 2018, to enroll in the Whole Cow Herd DNA project. For only $20, you will receive parentage, abnormality and genomic results. Gaining this valuable information will aid in herd improvement and breed advancement.
