American Hereford Association (AHA) membership,


On Jan. 18, 2018, the AHA closed on the sale of its property to the KC Hotel Developers, LLC. An expedited move from our current location to the new office space in the Kansas City northland will take place the week of Jan. 29, 2018. I wanted to update the membership on our schedule and ask for your patience as the staff completes this move. It is our intention to keep business flowing as normal as possible. Here are some dates to keep in mind.

1. On Jan. 30, the AHA will start its move to the new office space. Business should be normal and no issues with customer service or online services. Staff members are pitching in to help with this move, so we may not have as many answering phone calls during some times of the week.
2. At the close of business on Feb. 1, the AHA will be starting to disassemble all IT and phone connections to start the final move.
3. On Feb. 2, the AHA office will be closed and business will be shut down to get the office moved.
4. On Feb. 3-4, the AHA will complete its move. MyHerd should be available for business and the data will still be extracted for the next genetic evaluation.
5. On Feb. 5, the AHA should be prepared for business as usual. At this point, you should be able to use the same phone numbers to contact AHA and staff. As soon as we make the final move to the new office, we will make sure everyone has the new address and all contact information.

Again, we appreciate your patience as we transition to the new office space. Over the past few years, our turnaround time with work has been kept at 2 days or less and it is our goal to continue this type of service, however we may have a few delays through this move.
