Top 10 Senior Showmanship 2021

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Mason Allan, Nocona, Texas, was chosen as champion senior showman, July 6,
at the VitaFerm® Junior National Hereford Expo (JNHE) in Kansas City, Mo. Reserve champion honors
were awarded to Bryden Barber, Channing, Texas. Sullivan Supply and Stock Show University, Dunlap,
Iowa, sponsored the showmanship contest.

After narrowing the field from more than 130 entries, the top 10 seniors competed in the finals
which included a fitting contest. The other finalists were: third place – Chancee Clark, Muldrow, Okla.; fourth place – Lauren May, Mineral Point, Wis.; fifth place – Gage Tebo, Idaville, Ind.; sixth place – Kassidy Bremer, Redfield,Iowa; seventh place – Payton Farmer, Brownstown, Ind.; eighth place – Chesney Effling, Highmore, S.D.; ninth place – Dylan Kottkamp, Clayton, Ind.; 10th place – Ben Jensen, Courtland, Kan.

In the intermediate division, Piper Colyer, Bruneau, Idaho, was named the champion showman
and Paige Lemenager, Hudson, Ill., was reserve.

Claiming the junior division champion title was Danica Davis, Maple Hill, Kan., and reserve
champion was Nolan Lee, Wellington, Ill.

Bryce Brancel, Endeavor, Wis., was selected champion peewee showman and Claire Collins,
Frederick, Okla., was reserve champion peewee.

Husband and wife Jerrod and Blayne Arthur, Oklahoma natives, judged the senior and
intermediate showmanship competitions, assisted in the Top 10 Senior Showmanship by Alyssa
Copeland, 2021 Hereford Herdsman of the Year. Jim and Jan Adcock, Assumption, Ill., evaluated the
junior and peewee shows. More than 700 Hereford showmen were evaluated by the judges for their
showmanship abilities.
