Ashley Judge-Wagner, Loveland, Colo., & Jessie Judge, El Paso, Ill.
Originally from California, the “Judge Sisters” grew up raising and showing Shorthorn and Angus cattle on a national scale. Ashley was a member of the national champion livestock judging team at Redlands Community College and the reserve national champion judging team at Oklahoma State University (OSU). She was named the 2014 high individual at the National Collegiate Livestock Judging Contest in Louisville, Ky. She served as OSU’s assistant judging coach for three years while finishing her bachelor’s and pursuing a master’s in ag communications. Ashley and her husband run a Simmental and Angus operation, Baty Livestock, and she owns a marketing business.
Jessie Judge and her boyfriend, Bodee, help manage the sale and show cattle for Tree Lane Farms, a 250-head seedstock operation which specializes in raising Angus and Simmental cattle. She attended Butler Community College and was a member of the school’s successful judging team and was also named an Intercollegiate All-American. She completed her animal science degree at OSU and was a member of the 2017 national champion livestock judging team. Among other judging accolades, she was the high scoring individual at the National Collegiate Livestock Judging Contest. She has sorted entries for several shows around the country, including Kansas City, Dixie National and state fairs. Jessica currently works as the director of marketing and communication for The Wendt Group, owners of Showpig.com and Show Cattle Connection.
