KANSAS CITY, Mo. – GCC ML Cruella 800K ET won the grand champion female title Nov. 11, 2023, at the 50th anniversary of the North American International Livestock Exposition (NAILE) junior Hereford show in Louisville, Ky. Judge Danny Harker, Hope, Ind., sorted the 142-head show.
GCC ML Cruella 800K ET, a April 25, 2022, daughter of KLD RW Marksman D87 ET, is owned by Ella Weldon, Piedmont, Okla. She was first named champion spring yearling female.
Reserve grand champion female honors were awarded to GKB 8688 2296 Monroe K110 ET, exhibited by Dylan Kottkamp, Clayton, Ind. The March 7, 2022, daughter of UPS Sensation 2296 ET was also named reserve champion spring yearling female.
“I want to commend the breeders, and I want to commend NAILE for putting on such a great event, and the American Hereford Association for organizing such a well-run, high-quality show,” Harker said before selecting the grand champion Hereford female.
