Please join the American Hereford Association (AHA) in celebrating Tena Martin’s time at the Association this Tuesday, Oct. 1. Tena began her career with the AHA in the records department and was promoted to records supervisor in 2015 and has been in that position since.

As the Records Supervisor, Tena has been responsible for overseeing the workflow and call logs of the records department and supporting the customer service staff when challenges arise. With more than a decade of experience under her belt, Tena has a strong knowledge of every entity of the AHA which allowed her to lead a strong customer service team.

“Tena has been an integral part of the AHA team in multiple facets,” says Laura Loschke, education and information services coordinator and assistant records supervisor.
“We’ll miss her years of experience and knowledge of the Hereford breed. She’s been a co-worker, boss and friend to many and will be greatly missed.”

“Tena’s leadership as records supervisor for AHA certainly has allowed the department to excel in all aspects of customer service,” says Shane Bedwell, chief operating officer and director of breed improvement. “She has led by example and her skill set will be missed. We wish her the best in her future endeavors.”

We are sad to see Tena leave, but wish her the best of luck as she moves on to pursue personal opportunities. Thank you, Tena, for your hard work and dedication to the AHA.
