When you pull up to The Hoof Family Steakhouse on a Friday night, be ready to eat some of the best tasting steaks around.
Located in Madison, Mo., it’s not uncommon for restaurant patrons to travel up to 150 miles – from Quincy, Hannibal, Shelbina and Columbia for a table at The Hoof to enjoy a thick and juicy Certified Hereford Beef steak.
The small-town steakhouse – with big time steaks – originated in Dec. 2014 when the owners Keith Thomas and Chas Wheeler purchased an old diner with plans to transform it into a local gathering place with delicious chops.
Some of the most popular items on The Hoof’s menu include their generously sized Certified Hereford Beef tenderloins and 14-ounce ribeye steaks.
According to Keith, one of the customer comments they always receive is how tender and full of flavor their steaks are. Keith attributes these compliments to the fact that they serve Certified Hereford Beef.
If you are traveling through Iowa, Illinois or Missouri, make sure to add The Hoof Family Steakhouse as a detour for your travel plans. Your taste buds will sure thank you!
