KANSAS CITY, Mo. – LAR Annsley 843F ET and H The Profit 8426 ET won grand champion titles at the 2019 North American International Livestock Exposition (NAILE) Hereford Show Nov. 19 in Louisville, Ky. Judge Dave Duello, Pine Bluff, Wy., sorted the 176-head open show.

In the female show, grand champion honor went to LAR Annsley 843F ET, owned by Vada and Hans Vickland, Longmont, Colo. She was first named champion spring yearling female and is an April 2, 2018, daughter of UPS Sensation 2296 ET.

Reserve grand champion female honors were awarded to OG 1326 Valedictorian 05G ET, exhibited by Payton Farmer, Brownstown, Ind. The March 25, 2019, daughter of TFR KU Roll The Dice 1326 was first named champion spring heifer calf.

Grand champion bull honors went to Hoffman Herefords, Thedford, Neb.; and Buck Cattle Company, Madill, Okla., with H The Profit 8426 ET. The Feb. 14, 2018 bull is sired by Churchill Pilgrim 632D ET and first took champion yearling bull honors.

Reserve grand champion bull honors went to Rockin W Polled Herefords, Schulenburg, Texas; Grimmel Girls Show Cattle, Jarrettsville, Md.; and Kyle Lemmon, Manchester, Md., with RW KLD Ruger 109 7029 ET. He is a March 4, 2017, son of CRR 719 Catapult 109. He first won champion senior bull honors.

Madison Katzenberger, Monroe, Wis., exhibited the champion cow-calf pair, PRR MRK Kisses 162D ET. The cow is a March 13, 2016, daughter of NJW 73S M326 Trust 100W ET. She showed with an April bull calf at her side sired by LCC FBF Time Traveler 480.

The reserve cow-calf pair, Purple Elsie 73E ET, was exhibited by Mason Love, Baltimore, Ohio. The cow is a March 15, 2017, daughter of Perks 0003 Easy Money 4003 and showed with a Purple Chachi 65Z ET May bull calf at her side.

Premier Hereford Exhibitor honor went to GKB Cattle Company, Waxahachie, Texas, and Purple Reign Cattle Company, Toulon, Ill., was named Premier Hereford Breeder.

Junior Show

Vada and Hans Vickland, Longmont, Colo., claimed top honors at the NAILE junior Hereford show on Nov. 16 with their grand champion female, LAR Annsley 843F ET. The April 2, 2018, daughter of UPS Sensation 2296 ET was first named champion spring yearling female in the junior show and received champion honors in the open show.

Kathy Lehman, Shelby, Ohio, exhibited the reserve champion female, Sull CCC PL Rosie 800. She is a May 6, 2018, daughter of C Miles Mckee 2103 ET and was first named champion intermediate yearling female.

Brigham Stewart, Washington, Kan., judged the 136-head show in the Broadbent Arena.
