There are less than 50 days until the Junior National Hereford Expo (JNHE), and several contest deadlines are right around the corner. Photo contest, judging contest and showmanship entries are due June 1.

It’s time to tap into your creative spirit for the National Junior Hereford Association (NJHA) and Hereford World photo contest. For the photo contest, photos must be 8 x 10” high resolution version (300 dpi or higher). Photos must be uploaded at the bottom of the online entry form. If you have any difficulties uploading the photo to the form, you may email the photo to njhaphotos@yahoo.com. Grab your camera and show off your creativity!

After you’ve shown us your creative side, it’s time to get serious as you get ready to evaluate cattle at the JNHE Judging Contest. Any individual who plans to be in attendance at the JNHE is eligible to participate. You are NOT required to pre-register with your state advisor this year, however you must sign up at herefordjuniornational.com before the June 1 deadline. We will not add any individuals the morning of the contest and appreciate your cooperation as we work to streamline the growing event.

Don’t miss the opportunity to show off your skills in the showring. The showmanship and pre-peewee showmanship deadline is June 1. You may register at herefordjuniornational.com.

For a full list of contest rules, visit the contests page on the NJHA website. We’ll see you in Louisville at Showin’ for the Roses!
