category.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – More than 850 youth and their families from 41 states gathered at the 22nd
annual VitaFerm® Junior National Hereford Expo (JNHE) in Kansas City, July 3-9, to compete in
educational and leadership events in and out of the showring.

The photo and promotional poster contests were submitted prior to the JNHE to be judged in their
categories. The objective of the promotional poster contest is for youth to create a poster promoting the
current year’s JNHE. The purpose of the photo contest is to help NJHA members increase their
photography skills through the creative spirit found through the lens of a camera. Each age division is
broken into judged categories of Hereford Cattle, Enhanced Photo and People.
