Thursday was a bitter-sweet evening at the Junior National Hereford Expo as four junior board members gave their retiring addresses and handed off their maroon jackets to the next lucky individuals chosen to serve three-year terms on the NJHA board of directors.

They had a chance to reflect on their time and involvement within the Hereford breed earlier in the week.
