In the quest to help youth discover their passion and plans for the future, the National Junior Hereford Association (NJHA) board is excited to announce the inaugural Bridging the Gap College and Career Fair, debuting at the 2019 Junior National Hereford Expo (JNHE). This event will connect NJHA members with collegiate and industry professionals. Brand representatives will talk one-on-one with juniors and their families — an excellent way to start the conversation about college and careers.

“The mission of the National Junior Hereford Association is to build future leaders and the goal of Bridging the Gap is to bring an educational and leadership component outside of the showring to the Junior National Hereford Expo,” says Amy Cowan, AHA director of youth activities and foundation.

The NJHA is proud of its junior membership and believes Bridging the Gap will be an opportunity to showcase Hereford youth and their talents to the industry.

“Hereford juniors are highly regarded and represent the utmost in talent,” says Nathan Hopkins, NJHA membership chair. “What better way to feed their potential than provide avenues for education, internships, careers and future endeavors?”
