MADISON, Wis. — Heather Breasbois, Merrill, Mich., was honored as the National Junior Hereford Association (NJHA) Advisor of the Year, July 9, during the Hereford Youth Foundation of America (HYFA) Scholarship, Awards and Maroon Jacket Ceremony held during the 2026 VitaFerm® Junior National Hereford Expo (JNHE) in Madison, Wis. In recognition for her commitment to the Michigan Junior Hereford Association (MJHA), Breasbios received a leather banner.

Throughout the years as an advisor for MJHA, Breasbois has made an impact on many junior members that truly stands out. “Some advisors help organize events, while others shape lives. Heather does both,” says the Foster Family. While serving as an advisor, she significantly contributed to the advancement, achievements and strength of the association.

“Heather is the kind of person who lifts others up and helps them believe in themselves,” says Charlee Klink, MJHA president. “She leads by example, supports younger members and creates a welcoming environment for everyone. Her dedication to the Hereford community and the positive influence she has on young people make her incredibly deserving of this award.”
