KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Ty Pezanoski, Peru, Ill., earned top honors in the national junior Hereford show in North American International Livestock Exposition’s (NAILE) Broadbent Arena Nov. 15.
Zack Butler, Milton, Tenn., sorted the 118-head Hereford show in Louisville, Ky.
“Really impressive group from end-to-end,” Butler said. “We had some really deep classes, some high-quality cattle, and those kind of shows are always fun to sort.”
Pezanoski and HAWK Priya 11M ET claimed grand champion female honors. This Feb. 24, 2024, daughter of H The Profit 8426 ET first won the junior yearling division.
BOY Harley M416 ET, exhibited by Avery Sweeney, Vinton, Iowa, was named the reserve grand champion female. The Jan. 12, 2024, daughter of EXR Platinum 9200 ET, was also named reserve champion junior yearling female.
In the bred-and-owned show, Riley Rhodes, Carlinville, Ill., and his March 4, 2024, daughter of FTZS Dignified 104J, RGR Purple Lilibet 34M ET, won champion. Reserve champion bred-and-owned female honors went to KESL KORB KAGS Lollipop 11N, a March 7, 2025, daughter of KLD RW Marksman D87 ET, exhibited by Kesler Collins, Flanagan, Ill.
