The Certified Hereford Beef team took Dallas by storm at the 2019 US Foods Food Fanatics Live event, showcasing the premium quality and differentiation Certified Hereford Beef brings to food industry professionals and their establishments.
Hosted this year in downtown Fort Worth, the Food Fanatics Live event shares the love of food and inspiring business success. It is where restaurant owners and chefs can discover the latest and greatest trends on the food scene. The 2019 event brought US Foods customers from all across the United States with a focus on the Oklahoma City, Dallas, Austin and Houston markets.
“Food Fanatics Live put Certified Hereford Beef front and center with our customers,” says Michael Ploppert, US Foods Dallas center of the plate specialist. “The Certified Hereford Beef team was able to interact with over 1,000 people in a short six hour period. The story of the local Hereford ranchers providing beef for our fellow Texans to enjoy was a great selling point.”
The Certified Hereford Beef team served attendees smoked CHB brisket, a Texas classic, which garnered rave reviews.
“The taste of the Hereford beef was exceptional,” says Ploppert. “I am working with several customers on converting their beef business to CHB. Just about every customer I spoke with was very impressed that the Certified Hereford Beef CEO, Amari Seiferman, was in the Hereford beef booth. She was speaking with customers and telling the Hereford story. You don’t always see that from the CEO of a company.”
Next up, US Foods is headed south to celebrate the launch of the Certified Hereford Beef brand in the Austin market.
