The main objective of this contest is to not only include the pre-JNHE exhibitors, but also give them something to look forward to when they come to the JNHE. The will be judged on their ability to present not only themselves, but, their animal as well.
Contestants may sign up once they arrive at the Junior National Hereford Expo
- Exhibitors must not meet the age requirements for the preexisting JNHE Showmanship contests; they must be between ages 5-7 (as of the date of the show).
- Exhibitors must use a heifer that is entered in the current JNHE.
- An intermediate or senior exhibitor must accompany the pre pee wee in the ring.
- No bulls.
- PARENTS-USE GOOD JUDGEMENT IN WHAT YOUR CHILD CAN HANDLE.
AHA is offering several opportunities this summer for college students hoping to further their education and gain valuable real-world experience working with youth activities. It was an exciting week with C Miles McKeee being named Supreme Champion, the Mile High Night Sale grossing $1.1 million and the Lot 1 Foundation Female selling for $125,000 to suppot Hereford youth.
